As I’ve mentioned before, it’s no easy feat to live in New Orleans; and this is certainly most true from now until September. The idea that a shower keeps you clean for a mere ten minutes (albeit could be longer if you stay inside the house and try not to move) is not always an easy idea to swallow. Learning how to dress (appropriately wear jeans for those of us who have not had time to tint the lower portions of our bodies) during a NOLA summer is perhaps the greatest lesson a girl can learn. Less is always more when it comes to a hot, sticky summer - let the clothes do the talking and pick one light (statement) accessory to polish off the ensem (see: apple ring, above).
