Trip to LA

I left New Orleans for Los Angeles today. Along the way I noticed:

- These new Dolce Vita booties are super comfortable, but also tres chic and tres neutral.

- We’re all actually very very teenie weenie small things in this world. I saw to things I’d never seen before while in a plane: these cool circles on the ground…who put them there? How do you get to them? What are they for? The other thing: I saw a plane! While flying in a plane! Have you ever seen that? I mean, how many times have you flown, and have you ever seen another plane in the sky? It’s like, I know other planes must be flying on the day I fly, but I’ve never seen it! Until today! And it really put in perspective just how freaking fast we’re going. I mean, it really conceptualized what 600 miles per hour is! It’s fast!

- Spicy tuna on crispy rice is just the best damn thing in the world. Except for….

- Lattes with hearts drawn in the foam really make you feel warm and fuzzy.

How has your day been?

Can’t wait to share stories from Los Angeles!

p.s. If you’re here, come see JM out at The Mint tomorrow night!

C’est la vie lovers!
